How to transfer from OKex to Nanowallet

Hello,

I’m having a hard time transferring XEM from OKex exchange to Nanowallet. The OKex asks for the following information Address, tag, note. But when I key in the address I get an error saying invalid address. In my nano wallet under public key i see “You need to make a transaction to get a public key”. Can someone please guide me here ? Thanks

If you transfering to nanowallet just put your address and leave message empty.
You address is visible when you click “Account” in top navigation (right side).
If still tells you that address is invalid remove dashes from address.

Thank you this worked. But in OKex it asks me for a tag. Will this cause a problem when transferring ?

If tag is same as message you can leave it empty when sending to nanowallet. If it’s required you can put “transfer from okex to nanowallet” for example.

Looks like it is the same as message but when I gave “xem” as tag I see the address like this “NAIVY4OT7YJ7M5NYHAUOB4YTKDX4FEUT3IVIJMX4:xem” . I tried to send like 2 xem from OKex to Nanowallet around 5 hours back and i still see the status as “awaiting withdrawal”…

Strange. Please contact with they support. They have livechat so should be possible pretty quick.

Hi congukums, did you have success in the meantime? I have the same problem now and don’t know how to transfer my XEM to the nanowallet. no idea what message and tag should be.

@debrazzo okex don’t allow leave tag and message empty (put only address) ?

Yes it was successful. For the message and tag i just entered space bar. My transaction went into “Awaiting WIthdrawal” for a long time. I then contacted the customer support. They were able to help. Hope this help.

  1. I guess you had also had to omit the dashes in the withdrawal address, correct?
