Utilize NEM to promote a new “Resource Based Economy” with its foundation grounded in the idea of promoting abundance rather than scarcity, which will inherently promote the concept of availability as the dominant economic force.
The fundamental flaw that is inherent in our economic system today is the fact that scarce, or rare items are more valuable than abundant items… The more rare, or scarce an item is, the more valuable it becomes… As these scarce, or rare items get more and more expensive as the price increases, they are less and less available to the population. This lack of availability always leads to unhealthy competition, which ultimately leads to poverty, famine, class warfare, and is the driving force behind social inequality, crime and ultimately leads to absolute government corruption and the collapse of society. So, how can we still have a capitalistic, economic system that inherently promotes the concept of abundance rather than scarcity?
I envision a supporting corporate tax structure that provides for tax penalties to businesses that do not think in terms of abundance and therefore are not, within reason, making their products available to all individuals. Likewise, the new tax system would pay bonuses or tax-incentives to those companies that do a good job of making their products available to virtually all individuals. The price conversion from the scarcity economic system to the abundance economic system could simply be made possible by the supporting tax structure that also supports and promotes the abundance concept. If value is tied to availability rather than scarcity, then we could have healthy competition rather than unhealthy competition, promoting real love rather than greed.
