I cannot login into my lightwallet anymore - „Error 305. NIS is not available“

Hi Nem Team,

Since 10 days I cannot login into my lightwallet anymore, because of the status „Error 305. NIS is not
available“. Is this because you upgraded to NEM Beta 0.6.79? I uninstalled
my previous version of lightwallet and installed NEM Beta 0.6.79 , but even
with this version I cannot log into my wallet. What is the problem?

I alternatively tried to download the nemwallet-desktop.
0.1.5 and import my existing wallet, but it is asking my for my private key. My
private key is only visible once I login into my wallet, which I cannot.
I have a Wallet name, Account address & Password, but I do not know my private key to
import my existing wallet.

Please help me to login, I have a substantial amount of XEM in my wallet that I bought and am not harvesting remotely for 10+ days anymore due to the fact that I cannot login to NIS and the server I was harvesting on is down as well.

Thanks for the help.

Peter

Hi Peter!

That error probably means that the NIS that you were using is down. You should try to use a different NIS server (such as bob.nem.ninja) instead.

But the option to change the NIS server is in the settings once I login - and I cannot even login into my lightwallet NEM Beta 0.6.79 anymore - that is my problem!

These are my settings. I replaced Host with bob.nem.ninja. Now NIS is synchronized, but when I enter my wallet name and password, I still get ERROR 306.

Host:
158.195.218.160

node name:
foobarrrrr

Port:
7890

This is the address via which I try to login: http://127.0.0.1:8989/ncc/web/index.html

Please help me to login,

Thanks for the help.

Peter

I managed to login now, but still get the error 306. My delegated harvesting is deactivated. Why do I have to activate it again via sending 10 XEM? I already activated it months ago and have Delegated account public key and also a delegated address for harvesting…

Hi, my delegated harvesting is again active, but I cannot start it, I still get the error 306. These are my settings for delegated harvesting:

Host:
89.250.240.60

node name:
LinuxCZ

No, you can change the node before logging in. Let me tag some active people to help you out.

@peterjon:
LinuxCZ is a supernode, so it boots with a delegated account. Doesn’t it have auto harvest turned on in the config?

Hi, thanks, I am in the wallet now and harvesting. The bad thing is, out of 25 harvests I get approx only 2 that are not empty. It seems there are not many trx being done on the NEM network…
