Important announcement: Closing trello boards and migrating discussion here

Given the current state of NEM, the NEM core team wants to make a few changes in how information is shared among ourselves and with the community. We are making these changes for two reasons. Firstly, there are too many channels of NEM information and it's hard for us (let alone someone new) to figure out where to get all the NEM information. Secondly, we want to be more transparent and reduce the number of things that are discussed "behind closed doors".

Currently, there are four primary channels of communication in use: BTT, NEMFORUM, TRELLO, IRC. Starting today, we will make the following changes:

[li]All important information will be posted on NEMFORUM first. If it is really important, then the information will be cross-posted on BTT (either the full text or just a link to the NEMFORUM post). We are going to double down on the importance of this forum and will make sure that all NEM announcements will happen first on this forum! If you're a NEMster, there's no excuse why you're not here.[/li]
[li]We are phasing out all of the public and redundant trello boards (NEM Alpha, NEM Ecosystem, NEM Promotion) in favor of this forum. Any ongoing discussions in the discarded boards should be moved to the forum.[/li]

With these changes, there will be a single place for discussing NEM and all NEM announcements (this NEMFORUM) and there will be fewer private discussions (increased transparency). Hopefully, these changes will make this forum a more lively place :D.

Important Announcement

In light of the above post from Jaguar and in order to make communication more clear and simple, we will be removing NEM Alpha, NEM Ecosystem and NEM Promotion trello boards and will migrate all discussion on the NEM forum.

Please note that closure and migration will happen today.

Thank you for your understanding.

Update: The Social Media Center discussion has moved here: http://forum.nemcoin.com/index.php?topic=2426.new#new

Thanks xtester.

I am glad we are finally making this step.  Hopefully our community will be much more efficient in our communication now.

Thx for the info

xtester, great work!

Very good, will make things more easy for everybody :)!

Everyone seems happy with the decision, so it is okay with me.  Still… I kind of like the Trello pages.  The little cards were a great way to organize topics.  People could be tagged and pics uploaded and collected in little albums. It seemed like a really good way to organize and communicate.

A lot of work can still be done on the forums and that is how most other devs are doing it I guess, but I for one will miss those instant notifications that I got from Trello.  Made it really easy so I didn't have to constantly be checking in to wonder if somebody has responded or not.
