Is message important when withdrawing XEM from cryptopia [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am new in the crypto world so sorry if my question is silly.
I bought some XEM on cryptopia, withdrew them to send them to my Nem wallet but on the message field I wrote my name thinking it was like when you do a bank transfer. My transaction is still pending with no transaction ID. Are my XEM going to reach my wallet or did I do a fatal error?

I don’t think message does any harm when you send XEM into your wallet. But message is very important if you send XEM to exchanges. Many have tried to send XEM into exchange and either forgot or haven’t noticed that message needs to be on payment also.

Apparently when withdrawing funds from some exchanges, you cannot add message to withdrawal and when you withdraw from this kind of exchange to another, funds wont be credited without manual intervention from exchange itself (I remember that some exchanges even take a fee for crediting funds that don’t have required message).

If it’s long pending so long it mean it’s problem on Cryptopia side. When did you request withdraw?

I requested withdraw this morning and it is still pending with no transaction ID…

There is no in Cryptopia withdraw confirmation via email ?

I received an email telling me: “You have a pending withdraw awaiting confirmation”.
I clicked on “confirm withdraw” but since then nothing new happened…no email, no funds, no transaction ID

thanks for your advise, I have already sent a message but their average time to answer is 28 days.Once it is solved I will never trade again on Cryptopia as my ETN are blocked as well. Thanks anyway for your help!
