I have a linux server that runs all the time that I would like to run a node and locally harvest on - do I still have to vest 10,000 XEM to make that happen? Ideally I would not have to run nanowallet at all, just the java client (already synced and connected to the network). Is this possible?
Yes
That’s too bad, seems like running a node would be a good way to build importance regardless of overall wallet value. Maybe an issue as XEM prices increase and gaining importance is only accessible to big $$$
