Lost access to wallet, problem restoring with QR code

Hi Friends,

I lost access to my wallet on my iOS device, and have been trying to access my XEM via the QR code. When I scan it, a dialogue box reads “Wrong QR code type”. I think I had problems like this a couple years ago, and the problem had to do with the server settings, but I can’t remember.

Can anyone shed some light?

Are you sure you have QR code with private key?
In mobile wallet you can export three different QR codes:

  • when you click QR button on bottom of view. It contains only your address (no way to restore account with it)
  • when you click Invoice. It contains only address, amount and message (no way to restore account with it)
  • when you click More -> Export account -> OK. It looks different. Only this QR can be used to restore account.
