Lost phone - Mobile Wallet Recovery

Hi,

I lost my phone yesterday and just a few days before I installed a iOS NEM wallet on my phone. I am new to this, so I did not backup my account or saved my private key. Is there any way to recover my wallet ?

Without a backup or private key I think it’s pretty much a lost cause. Only brain wallets can be recovered with only a password.

In the future I would advice creating a nano wallet on your pc and ofcourse write down your private key, afterwards you can link that wallet to your mobile device as well.

@empers Actually things are a bit more messy now. When i received XEM to my wallet I clicked on send button with all the XEM and it was sent back to changelly. But sadly I cant see them in my history on changelly. I mailed them already about it and I hope it can be in XEM and then I can set up a new wallet. I donno if someone had this situation. Anyways thanks for the update

Changelly should be able to get your XEM back to you. Make sure you open a support ticket, and include the transaction hash.

i have create a mobile wallet account and i want to connect to nano wallet into desktop it’s possible

It’s possible and most easily done with your private key found in the app if you click export.

yeah i have the app and the back up but how to input that to a nano wallet

  1. if you have you private key just open the nano wallet, click sign up, private key wallet, enter your private key there and create it.
    2)if you have the backup .wlt file: open nano wallet, click login, click import wallet and select your backup file.

The support system of changelly is totally dumb and frustating! They took ages to address my problem and after several emails I hoped that my money will be sent to a new wallet address I provided them. Instead, they sent it to my lost account which I cannot recovery anymore. I made my point clear that I lost my phone and lost NEM wallet in it but instead of making verifications related to that they just say “out policy is to return it to old account only, or else everyone can tell any wallet address under suspicious circumstances”. Changelly Sucks big time!!!
