One of the selling points of XEM aside from the fast transaction rates should be a low transaction cost, and with XEM trading at 23 cents, that’s 23 cents per transaction minimum. People will be more attracted to use this currency if the fees are low, say 5 cents per transaction at the most.
The time to be lowering these fees should be sooner rather than later in my opinion. Maybe change everything from 1 to 0.1, and if XEM is trading at 50 cents in a week or so, that would be 5 cents per transaction for small transactions.
Along with this, the requirements to run a supernode need to be lowered to somewhere around 100,000 to 250,000 XEM, in my opinion and 1,000 for a node.
