Hey,

yesterday I had to struggle with my accounts on mainnet and testnet. I wanted to use my testnet-wallet on the IOS-App but I didn’t get it working.

Is it possible to use the mobile-app with different accounts on different networks and if yes, how? (e.g. similar to the selection in nanowallet)

I know I can switch the server that should be used. But this didn’t seem to work. Maybe I just added a wrong testnet-address.

have you tried with Testnet nodes like bob.nem.ninja ?

I haven’t tried with my testnet accounts on mobile yet but I’m guessing import etc. would only work for Testnet accounts if the mobile app is already working with a Tesnet Node.

If bob is offline, try bigalice2.nem.ninja

I tried both now and each of them with port 7890

When trying to open the wallet there is the message “no internet connection” displayed. Also, when I create a new account there is an account for the mainnet be created (beginning with ‘N’)

Can you import a private key in the mobile app? I would suggest testing that out, you select the testnet node, then import the testnet account private key

yes it is indeed possible to import the private key. but nothing has changed although I imported it after I changed the server-address.

I also experienced a bug following these steps (on IOS):

  1. change server-address to any testnet-address
  2. go into the account
  3. click “more” (…)
  4. click “harvesting details” -> app crashes instantly

im not sure there is bounties for the iOS wallet but @jabo38 could maybe confirm ? :slight_smile:
