My NIS server is not accepted by NEM wallet [SOLVED]

Hi all,

I ve set up NIS server. Trying to add it to my local NEM wallet, but it seems like it not accpted.

It silently falls back to alice server

Server listens to 7880 port

Looks like your node doesn’t work:

Second question why you don’t use default port (7890)?

I didnt change the port - it what it comes out of the box.

If I run

sudo service supernode status

It shows me that its ok (?)

@BloodyRookie could you verify?

Verify what? The original post is about nano wallet, @Quantum_Mechanics can asnwer that i guess.

That is the servant, You query the servant like this:

http://94.130.167.236:7880/nr/metaData

Nano wallet doent accept NIS because NIS doesnt start properly (?)

How do I check if its actually woking? Except for servant?

NIS log says that its ok

http://94.130.167.236:7890/chain/height

But yours is not working and that might be the reason that nano wallet switches back to an alice server.
Can you show me the NIS log?

Then port 7890 might not be open?

ok, now your NIS responds to the height request. Seems it is loading the chain.

OK, I got it. Nis service was not started. My bad. I rebooted and started only servant.

That’s why I ask you for help @BloodyRookie
Thank you

Anyway NEM wallet should show an error that no NIS server found on that address…

If you are using nanowallet 2.0.14 (last version) you can report this here:
