Nano wallet: Unable to login, unable to import wallet file

Dear team,

I’ve used the wallet before, but this morning it refuses to accept my wallet file. I’ve updated to 2.1.2 on OSX. Neither the previous nor the updated version imports the .wlt file.

My steps:

  1. Hit Login
  2. pull down menu - nothing the choose from but “choose wallet in local storage”
  3. Hit “import wallet”
  4. choose the .wlt file (it is stored at 2 different locations, neither file works!)
  5. Enter the passphrase won’t activate blue “Login” button
  6. Pull down menu won’t offer to choose the file or shows “main net”.

Basically I have a .wlt file and a passphrase. What can I do?

Maybe your wlt file is corrupted. Did you ever before try load it or this is first time?

That’s what I thought, too. But I tried it before. It worked. As stated, the file is stored in two different locations. Both don’t work.

…and I’ve tried my backups too. I know for sure, that I’ve worked with the file once.

The nano wallet just doesn’t seem to load the file. There is no error warning or anything. Basically I hit “load wallet file”, choose the file and then nothing.

When you try on another device you have same problem?

I haven’t tried this one. Will do tomorrow night. Hope is still up

Lucky me, I’ve stored everything inclusive private key. My wallet is restored and the wallet address is the same my NEMs are on. So far so good. But now the network is “red” and whatever server I choose it remains red.
Apparently this is rather a network problem than a wallet challenge. But still, any idea what could be done?

Check if you have opened porst 7778 and 7890 on you device firewall (or router).
