Hi I noticed that in the FAQ’s it says “The NCC is recommended not to be located on the same terminal as the NIS if you want to keep the NIS always on.” I would like to keep my NIS always on for harvesting. Am I to understand that as this will be over HTTP it isnt secure to open the wallet on the same terminal as the NIS is running? How can I activate harvesting and check on the progress if I cannot run NIS and NCC on the same terminal?
OK I have figured out how to run NCC on my main terminal while syncing with the NIS on another terminal ie: raspberry pi within my network. Is this a safe enough way of doing it?
If it is within your private network it should be safe.
