NCC won’t start. Reinstalled everything, but nothing seems to help.

There is a locking file in your NEM user directory, delete this file and start NCC from the menubar.

Filelocation in Windows is: c:\windows\users\alice\nem\ncc\accounts_cache_mainnet.json

Did you delete that file as the msg suggests ? (the lock not the json ;))
Log would also be helpfull in case that doesn’t do the trick.

I believe he deleted that file and it is working now. I saw him asking about this on Telegram.

Correct location for Windows is:

C:\Users\%YOUR-USERNAME%\nem\ncc\accounts_cache_mainnet.json

And uhm, it would be interesting to know the reason why this helps…

was again requred to delete it

seems when ur PC crash there is a chance this file stay in a state that make it impossible to start NCC next time

there should be some fix made that the NCC is able to dedect if the file is corrupted and delete by himself
