Can 256mb memory handle NEM client? I plan to have some nodes after the launch.

256 MB won't be enough. I'm note sure right now if somebody made it work on a 512 MB RAM machine yet, but anyway I would recommend 1 GB.

The video uses a 512mb vps. It doesn't work unless you make a swap disk but I have that in the script in the video description so users need not worry about that. So far my nis hasn't gone down so the set up in the video + script seems to be more than sufficient even when the network is in overload. It's only 5$ a month so it's not like it's expensive either. :)
I havnt tested this set up with both ncc and nis on it.
How many times and where will this process look for admin passwords? and will I need admin passwords to update software when I install it in my office PC, I will need IT guys to come for that part… so I will need to know exactly when, as they don't exactly come when you put a request in, it could take weeks…
would I be better off waiting till the final launch version is out?

you need to go into config settings swap out the boot address for one with non zero importance. the safest way to do this is to activate delegated harvesting for a non-zero importance account, wait 6 hours, and then in the account you activated it for, go to settings and click "show remote accounts private key" and then take that private key and use that as the boot key for the server..

Did all you said, but nothing. I see right remote address from the account i activated and the same error.
I just set up NIS for delegated harvesting on a Banana Pi running Lubuntu. Seems to be working, sweet I'll leave it running for a day and then check…
Change the setting to start harvesting automatically from true to false
