I just downloaded the new version and the Mon and NCC folders only contains the config files and runNCC fails.

NCC is discontinued. Any reason not to use Nano Wallet?

I didn’t know that. So when we run a standalone client, in addition to downloading NIS…tgz file, we’d also need to download nano wallet separately?

If you want to access account via a client, then yes, need to download a version of Nano Wallet.
