NEM Address Doesn't Exist | Sending From bitcoin.co.id [SOLVED]

I"m trying to send NEM from bitcoin.co.id to my nano wallet but I am receiving NEM address Doesn’t Exist error.

I have copied and pasted my account address of NBGO3C-J53AMW-2XMCTS-XEZR5T-KH6AHH-Q3CICY-IDAY

bitcoin.co.id also is requesting a message. Can anyone help in clarifying why my address isn’t being recognized.

I read somewhere that I have to have a friend send me NEM in order to activate my wallet. I don’t know anyone else with NEM

Do I need to remove the “-” Hyphens?

So I read in in another thread that the hyphens had to be removed. This did infact work and I was able to send the NEM.

Yes. Sometimes exchanges doesn’t support dashes in address which are only for readability.
Great you solve it yourself.
