I’m new to the NEM community and hoping to connect with others with an interest in applying NEM technologies in educational settings. If you have an interest in education (K-12 or Higher Ed), tell us about it here. Maybe we can develop some common interests!

I’m proposing that we start kids off early by not only teaching better personal finance habits, but also lessons about NEM blockchain technology itself.
Absolutely!! As well as education about Blockchain, I was also meaning the application of the technology to the education industry. Any thoughts?
You meant setup a firm for socialising and educating , also for consulting?
100% - financial literacy is only a small aspect of what we can do with the tech - in fact, $$ tends to muddy the waters tbh.

Actually, my cofounder and I are working on our startup Lern.io which aims to promote user experience in the online education. We have chosen NEM blockchain to enhance our app’s capabilities. It would be great to have a discussion with you about our common interests.

Great to hear! We should talk. You’re right, our projects have some common interests by the sounds of it. Kieran mentions you have met already but if you are up for a meeting at the Blockchain Centre at Southbank we’re here on Mondays in the co-working space. Would love to catch up.

Hey Matt, Glad to know of your interest in the Education space. We too believe there is a lot that can be improved in the Education space with more technology addition. At Sernez, We are trying to create a decentralised platform that helps students get access to finance for education much more comfortably. Along with features like getting the right opportunities to learn and work with. Lets keep this thread open and see how we all can join the forces to revamp the current education landscape using NEM
