Nem Delegated Harvesting starter questions

Hi all,

I’m new to this forum and new to the Nem coin. I’m investing in altcoins for some while now and recently Nem coin caught my attention. I have two starter questions to which I cannot find a good answer so far ( I read several articles and forum threads). Hope this is the right place for me to ask them, if not please delete this topic:

  1. When I start delegated harvesting 10.000 XEM will be taken of my account. If I ever decide to stop the delegated harvesting will I get those coins back to my account?

  2. I don’t have any software knowledge so I’m relying on existing servers to connect to. Is this possible or do I need to setup my own software also somewhere at a VPS. I once mined bitcoin (kncminer) but I found it a pretty big time investment which I currently don’t have.

Hi,

  1. harvesting doesn’t affect your will to transfer/spend your XEM.
  2. You can harvest using one of the available NEM nodes:

https://nemnodes.org/nodes/

just insert the IP in the settings menu for NCC wallet
or in the Node menu for NanoWallet
