We think that this might be an issue just for your phone model. Can you install 1.0.48 and try to repeat the problem. If it persists we definitely want to get it fixed.
If you make a Github issue here https://github.com/NewEconomyMovement/NEMAndroidApp it will get the mobile devs attention. And please leave your NEM address in the issue.

Found a bug where the app crashes when switching between the account menu and the account overview several times on an iPhone 6s. I will start testing the app on an iPhone 5 tomorrow.

Yes, you need 10,000 “vested” XEM. XEM are vested by getting aged in.
The formula is 10% of your remained balance is vested every 24 hours.
So the only way to get vested to harvest in 24 hours is to have more than 100,000 XEM.
If you have 50,000 XEM, it will take you 3 days.
If you have 20,000, it could take you 8 or 9 days I think.
The vesting basically helps prevent a Nothing at Stake attack.
I had the same issue as appolloburning with the repeating key presses.
I fixed it by going into “Samsung keyboard settings” and turning off the “Predictive text”.
Is it possible that the NEM app can automatically disable the Predictive text function?

I have added this to the github post. I have never encountered this problem before with any other app, only on NEM.
I have never even switched PT off before Toltoys suggestion.
