Nem NanoWallet: red eye of Mordor (tried everything, welp!)

Hello guys, I installed the Nem Nanowallet and I “signed up” importing my private key from NCC.
But it doesn’t get connected (the Node circle is red)

  1. I already tried all the nodes available, from 62.75.171.41 all the way to alice7.nem.ninja everything in betweeen.
  2. I disabled all script filters from the browser
  3. I reinstalled a fresh version of Firefox without any addons
  4. I even disabled EMET, just in case.

One detail, I pinged all those nodes, and they are all replying.

I don’t know what else to do.

Try using Chrome instead of Firefox. I know plenty of people are using Firefox successfully, but it is worth a try.

That was my first choice, Chrome wasn’t working so I switched to Firefox.

Are you sure you created a wallet on the main net?

Absolutely sure

@Quantum_Mechanics Do you have any ideas?

Just throwing in some thoughts. But I noticed that at my work they have quite an extensive firewall and the port nem uses is blocked there. You could check if port 7890 isn’t obstructed or closed by anything

If browser is up to date and network is not blocking, it should be working

Agreed. I would try the nano wallet from another internet connection. I don’t know what else could be the issue.
