NEM NCC stand alone .tgz file cant extract

Painstakingly went and removed Java/NEM/Firefox. Reinstalled Java/ downloaded “Stand Alone” .tgz file. Then downloaded Firefox.

I went do downloads and see the nis ncc 6.87 tgz… nothing to extract.

Even in the NEM Quick Start Guide video on YOUTUBE he moves to, just unzip,package/Run NCC and all is fine. Nope.

Gents, & Ladies and for those who had issue as I.

Java Version 52 (released March 2017) has limited support for plug-ins, and therefore will NOT run JAVA!

FireFox 52 ESR ( Extended Release Support) 32 bit release will continue to offer support for standard based plug-ins.

Im downloading now. ltr
