Hello,

Need some help! I purchased some NEM coins on my previous s6 android phone with the NEM wallet Android app. I got a new android s6 phone and restore my old phone backup but the NEM app doesn’t show my account or coins. I still have my old phone but the screen doesn’t work and i also formatted the phone. Is there a way to retrieve? Did I need to export or do Samsung/Google backups contain what I need to restore? I don’t have the private key unfortunately but I do have my NEM address can that help? My XEM coins were sent from Changelly to my NEM wallet I have the transaction details and wallet address can this help?

Hello
You need to have your private key to restore wallet.
You can try restore backup from cloud but I don’t think that it contains account data.

Hey thanks for responding! I restored backup of my old phone on my new one
but the NEM wallet app didn’t have my account it treats me as new user :frowning: I
wonder if I can do something with my old phone but phone was reformatted.

It really depends on how much XEM you have, because you are going to need to hire a professional to restore your XEM at this point. It’s possible your private key is not recoverable at this point too.
