NEM Wallet Empty

Hi,

I could do with some help to access my NEM again!
Issue is, I have logged into my wallet after a good few months, to find it empty.

Its a Nano Wallet.
The Node is showing green…

I had to format my laptop a month ago - could this have affected it?
I have the private key - but is this useful in this scenario and how do I go about using it to recover my funds?

Also, I saw a lot of NEM was stollen - but from private wallets?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
What you mean by your wallet is empty:
a) You don’t see any transactions on dashboard and balance is 0
b) You can see transaction and balance is 0

Maybe after you create a new wallet instead load existing from private key after format?

To import wallet from private key. Click Sign up -> Private key wallet option, choose mainnet, new password and wallet name. Provide private key from backup. If private key is correct your address should match your old address.

Hi pawelm,
Thanks for reply. I mean Option a; I see no transactions and my balance is 0.
I will try your suggestions.
Thank you!
