Hi,
I went to my wallet and the XEM is gone. I saw another post suggesting the user change the node. I did that and the red circle never changed to green.
What is a customer node? How can I get my XEM back? Thank you.

custom node would be a node that is not on the list.
Did you try multiple nodes? Did you enable a firewall or some other security features since you last accessed the nano wallet?
I went down the list of nodes, clicked on them and closed it out. Is a customer node needed? Is it something I make up? I turned my firewall off.
wow! seem we have the same problem… my nem also gone after I sent it out for my exchange and nowhere to be found! this is suck! differest is I using moblie wallet app…
Is there a way to restore it somewhere else? I saved the text when I created the wallet.
Hi,
Your XEM are not gone, application is simply not connected to the node.
I just tried to select san.nem.ninja and also alice3.nem.ninja and they works
Hi QM,
Thank you. Do I just select them and close out that window Nothing happened, not sure if I was supposed to do something else.
All you need to do is select the node, then close popup.
You do not need to worry about ‘custom node’ option. That is there so you can select a custom node, a node that is not listed at the dropdown.
Hi Michael,
I have the same problem, did you succeed to resolve it?
Hi Ilay,
Yes there wasn’t an issue really, it was the public network I was on
blocking it.
Glad to hear it… Do you have more details? how did you unblock it?
I didn’t do anything. I was connected to my schools wifi and when I went
back to the hotel I was able to see everything with no issues.
Thanks man, I’ll try with different wifi connection
