1st - I’m looking for info regarding transfer of my Bittrex XEM balance into the NEM wallet in preparation to harvesting. The tuts talk about sending and receiving but it is not clear to me how to accomplish this.
2nd - How do I setup my vesting properly. Once I have the NEM in my wallet what next?
1st.
Is it the first time to use NEM Wallet (NanoWallet)?
When transferring money from Bittrex, you need the address of the NEM that owns the public key. When I made my NEM address with NanoWallet, the public key has not been issued.
If there is no public key this will be displayed like this.
In order to obtain the public key, it is necessary to remit money from the NanoWallet to the outside.
It is possible to send zero XEM to yourself, but you will need 0.05 XEM as a commission.
Please contact me if you can not finance the funds.
If you could tell me your NEM address, we will send you 0.05 XEM from here.
After that, please remit zero XEM to your address.
This will generate a Public Address.
Once you are ready, you can send money from Bittrex to your NanoWallet.
2nd.
First, you need to activate Remote Account.
You do this with “Services” -> “Deligate Account” -> “Manage delegated account”.
After opening the screen, I think that “Remote status” is “INACTIVE” in the “Harvesting panel” on the upper right.
To make this “Active”, operate the right side of the screen.
Please confirm that “Select a mode” is “Activate” and enter the password. After that, transaction is issued by pressing “Send” button.
If you wait about 6 hours from the operation, “Remote status” will change to “ACTIVE”, so check it.
If you come this far, you only need to set up to request harvesting.
However, harvesting is impossible unless “Vested balance” displayed on the upper right is over 10,000.
Also, “Vested Balance” is calculated once a day and slowly rises. It has become the calculation formula as follows.
(Balance - Vested_Balance) × 0.1
This can be harvested the next day if there is 100,000 XEM.
However, in the case of 20,000 XEM, harvest can not be started without waiting 8 days.
Successfully, when the Vested balance becomes 10,000 or more, you can set up harvesting.
This setting is done at the bottom of the right screen.
Enter the password and enter the supernode or full node requesting harvesting in the list or manually. After that, you can see that harvesting was started if “Harvesting status” at the top of the right screen becomes ACTIVE by pressing the start button.
Since there are many servers that have the limit number of harvesting acceptance among nodes, in that case, an error to that effect appears.
In this case, we will look for another free server.
