NIS is not available

NIS is starting, NCC is running

then

NIS is stopped, NCC is running.

Version 0.4.36.  Anyone having trouble getting the NIS up and running?

@Hollowman9000: Withour logs it's hard to judge what is going wrong. The logs are in c:\users<your user>\nem\nis\logs (windows) or home/nem/nis/logs (linux).
Can you upload it somewhere and pm me the link?
Also, on what hardware are you running NIS/NCC?

System stats as requested earlier:

-AMD Sempron 145 processor
-Windows 7 64 bit
-ASRock 970 extreme4 motherboard
-(2) HyperX Genesis 8 GB RAM for 16 GB total
-ADATA 32gb SSD Hard Drive
-(1) XFX R270 GPU

The NIS is synchornized after starting over from scratch, however I saved the old nem folder with all associated files.  I can email you the files if that's the best way.  Would putting a log dump on paste.bin work for you?

Hi hollowman9000,

i think the log is too big for pastebin.com. Uploading on some file hoster and sharing the link via pm is probably the best way. Try to limit the log to the day/time where you had problems.

I have the same issue.
OS: WIN7
NIS/NCC: 0.4.36

I will PM  you a link with my logfiles!

My issue turned out to be one of memory allocation.  I was running a 32 bit java.  I installed the 64 bit version, and altered the memory allocation parameters per BloodyRookie and gimre's suggestion, and all is good

I'm also now running the standalone version, vs the webstart.  Whether that was a source of problems, I'm not sure.  YMMV.

In 99% of the cases webstart is the source of the problem :)
