NIS server not accessible using external IP

Hello,
I installed NIS on a virtual machine on Azure.
When I tried to check the heartbeat via
http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7890/heartbeat

(xxx is the server’s public up)

from my pc. I can’t get a reply. However if I do the same from the virtual machine using the local Ip
127.0.0.1
Then it works.
I even set the firewall to open the port 7890

Hello,
Check if you put correct IP and if indeed port is open.

I had to setup inbound rules for the Azure network security as well.
after that it works…tq

querying the node from browser works but
I can’t configure my nanowallet to use my NIS server as node

I add a custom node on the NanoWallet node list
but after awhile it reverts to an existing node

I’m able to change my NanoWallet node to any on the list but not custom node to my NIS server

But when I tried to change a NanoWallet installed on the VM using set to localhost
it works

For nanowallet please open also port 7778
