Not able to receive XEM coins

Hey guys,
Having a bit of an issue here. I bought XEM coins from bter.com and had them transfered to my wallet I had created using the NEM client from the NEM official website. Both NIS and NCC are active and it shows as synchronized but its been hours and the balance still shows as 0. When I check the wallet address on the block chain I can see the exact amount transfered but its not reflecting in my wallet.

Here’s the Address I sent it to
NDJIG3MMUITTCO3L6W4XZDMXBAZXDBAVO3WNJJ2C

It’s the same exact address of my wallet I’ve confirmed it.

I’m still new to NEM so I apologize if I’m missing out on something important here. Any help to get this through is appreciated.

Hi bushako,

you have currently 2028237 XEM on your account. You may setup a different NIS. Set it to supernode.nemno.de instead of localhost.

Remote NIS is save. NEM is designed to use remote NIS in a secure way.
I Use supernode.nemno.de by my self.

Could you please give me a detailed method of setting up a different NIS. Im worried if ive lost my coins for good. my balance still shows as empty even though NEM client is fully synchronized.

Did you restart the client? Can you provide a screen shot?

Unfortunately i cannot post a screenshot since i havent got enough posts. I have tried the Experimental Light Wallet and loaded my wallet on to it. It shows connected status and same 0 balance.

edit: i uploaded it here enter link description here

i dont understand what is going on as the addresses in the blockchain and my wallet match. Everything is synced so what else could be the issue? Why does the transaction show the exacct balance in the explorer but vested balance is 0?

Don’t worry, there are two transactions from bter.com into your account, check

Vested balance is not the real balance. It’s the part of the balance that can be used for harvesting. It grows with 10% per day (1440 blocks) if I remember correctly.

Your password is to log in to your wallet, the private key gives you access to your account, which you can add to whatever wallet.I f you have the private key of your account, you could try to import it as a new account. Indeed, your account is not linked to your wallet password.

To avoid the possibility there is something wrong with your existing wallet, you could even create a new wallet first and then import your existing account with the private key. Creating a new wallet will create a new account by default, but you can ignore that account for the exercise and import your account as the second account of the wallet. If all goes well you can set your existing account as primary account in the wallet and delete the other account.

If that does not work, there is indeed probably something wrong with your local copy of the blockchain. You could connect to another node: open the settings of the NCC in your browser before you open a wallet. Set the host to an IP adres or a hostname of a running node, Save and open the wallet.
