Number of coins & old NEMstake worth

Hi there,

I’m wondering about one thing. Initially there were supposedly 4,000,000,000 coins, however, now I see the number 8,999,999,999 everywhere. Sadly, Google doesn’t answer what’s with that.

Also, supposedly someone had 1 NEMstake token worth 1,000,000 coins. Is that stake now still worth 1 million, or that got changed also accordingly?

it changed accordingly to 2250000, but NEMstake is actually worth 0, because redemption ended like year ago.

Yes, 8,999,999,999 is the correct total amount.

To be exact, there were 4000 NEMstakes. All but 1 were converted to 2250000 XEM. The last “NEMstake” was converted to 2249999. This was absorbed into the community fund pool. Hence, everyone got 2250000 per NEMstake.
