The cosignatories attached to my primary/multisig account has been compromised and I now have no way of accessing the funds on this account because I am unable to initiate a transaction. Please tell me there is something I can do with the private key etc…so I wont lose the funds. Thanks for help
Yes, but there are some answers that need to be made.
- What kind of account was that (X out of Y), do you know X and Y? If not, can you share the primary account address?
- How many of them was compromised? You have written that there was cosignatories (more than one).
If it was account X out of Y and someone has access to X and you don’t have access to X number of accounts, you lost it.

If it is, you need to find your private key for it (nb7) and then the funds will be available to you once again. If you don’t have .wlt file, private key or any data that will import it into some device, the funds are lost.
Man, that really stings to read that. I made that years ago, so i remember making it, in that sense its mine but it’s not in the sense that I have a private key corresponding with it. No, like i said I ONLY know the private key to my primary address…i also have some 12 word passphrase i’m assuming is another expression of NCB’s private key…that’s a pretty serious bummer. Well, i appreciate your help in the matter…
Check the passphrase, maybe it’s for the second account? Search your hard drive for .wlt file. Any .wlt file. Maybe you made some paper copy of the private key? Hope you’ll find it! Good luck.
