not sure about that, when NEM launches, NXT will still be way ahead of us.
We must offer something different and better than NXT though, because otherwise we'll always be seen as just a NXT clone. We need our own niche and it has to be focussed on friendliness ease of use etc. Because NXT is really complicated for newcomers. If nem can be more ergonomic then we can rule the 2.0

Crypto 3.0 will be more about UX/UI than technology. Unfortunately, NEM is there at all yet, as we have no mobile apps. Any crypto launching now should be mobile first if they want to reach mass adoption.
Couldn't we hire somebody to start developing a mobile app asap?
Let's put some dole together and hire some. Anybody game to work on that?

I think the value of NEM will depend on a number of factors: 1)what kind of innovation we'll be able to deliver, 2)how well we'll market that innovation, 3)what kind of active community we'll be able to build, 4) how rich of an ecosystem we'll be able to offer and more importantly, how simple we'll be able to make it for the average user to gain access and use all this.
That being said, I expect one stake to be at least 5-10 btc after launch - at least 10-15 btc after 6 months - and at least 15-20 btc after one year. Please note that I'm very conservative in this projections and think there are reasonable scenarios where the value could easily be double from the one I mentioned.

I think as we'll approach beta, and some more things will be unveiled we will see again prices above 30k Nxt.

It was something like 100BTC. To me that is pittance money for a project of this size. And like Patmast3r said, maybe one or two mobile apps and the coffer is all dried up.

True I guess we really need to concentrate on the community element so we can do funding drives etc.
Seeing as this community is much more energetic and generous than most communities in the Crypto Space
taking into consideration that several NEMsters sent us NEM in the beginning stages and we would really
like to give back to those people in the near future when our projects are all in place and revenue is being
generated on a daily basis.
I don't know who BloodyRookie is however he has got to be one of the most generous people in the Crypto
Space that I have ever came across in the few years that I have been involved with Crypto.

Anyways I believe NEM easily has the potential to reach at minimum 10X the Current Price of NXT based
on the sheer size of the Community and the unique features that encourage everybody to trade and
exchange with each other in order to increase their Level of Importance.

Let's not make the same error NXT did: for price to go up we need to lower minimum fee below 1 NEM.
It is not acceptable a fee of 0.05 $ per transaction.

That can only happen when NEM is more valuable. You can't just take away the incentive to run nodes otherwise there will be no network anymore.
I was sure i would find some thoughts here about the recent rise of xem 
Question I have: Does it all have to do with mijin, or is Mike Hearn’s move also a factor? Something else?
