Private keys and wallet creation

Hi,

I had nem sent to android app from changelly they arrived and succesfully generated a private/public key and QR code. Its advised to send them to nano wallet and not keep funds on phone wallet. My confusion is l setup .wlt file which has 64 basecode and privatekey. Now l have two private keys. - wallet where funds are currently and nano wallet. should l be exporting from phone into wallet created when l setup nanowallet?

Your XEM are always stored on the blockchain. It doesn’t matter which client you use to access them. So long as you keep a secure backup of your private-key or wlt file and your password they are secure.
If you want to access the same account in nano as you do on your mobile client you need to import the private-key from the account you created on your mobile device and import it into nanowallet i.e. create a private-key wallet with it.

Hi Memario,

Thanks for clearing that up. I presumed thats how it worked l just started to doubt what l was doing.

Cheers!
