Public Key Generation - Help!

Can someone please help me with my first transaction? (I’ve sent NEM from an exchange to my Nano Wallet, however, it’s indefinitely pending as I haven’t generated my public key).

In the account section, the wallet states “You need to make a transaction to get a public key”.

Shouldn’t my initial transfer from the exchange have triggered the public key generation? How do I get around this?

Any help would be appreciated.

You don’t need public key to receive XEM from exchanges I know. Which exchange is that?

I used Coinspot.

I was reading other threads and it seems that everyone had the same problem : /

In most cases it’s problem with exchange not problem with your not visible in network public key.
But of course I can sent you small amount to check this and you must me send back to aquire public key.
