i'm about to send my NEMstakes to the NXT address.
to be honest i find this process VERY confusing, so i want to send a test of .1 NEMstake to make sure it worked.
my questions are:
1) can i send NEMstake (TO NXT-97MX-EWKV-CGKX-DA5WH) multiple times from the same NXT account?
2) is there a way to verify the number of NEMstakes that have been received by the "Real" account? i know about https://chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered, but that doesnt give any indication of balance.
Thanks!

Hello.
1) I'm not sure about this but I think is possible to send multiple times but this will be answered by patmast3r.
2) You can verify transactions in NXT network by using their nxt block explorer
for example here: [url=http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=1]http://87.230.14.1/nxt/nxt.cgi?action=1
Just paste the account address into the searched box and you will get all the data related
to the searched account.

but wont that only verify the NXT transaction? i don't see how that verifies that my NEM went to my "real" account (or that it will when that step is supposed to happen).
thanks!

Sorry i did not understood your question the 1st time.
The answer is you cant verify anything before the nemesis block is created and NEM v1 is launched.
Real NEM does not exists yet.
If you supplied the correct real address and if you saved correctly your private key that you have generated
in the current beta client you will be able to verify this once you import your private key into the released v1 software.
Then all your NEM should be in your account.
This is how I understood.
When you create your "real" data you're asked to verify them. If that was successfull then you have a valid private key to an address. If you have supplied that address to the portal or sent it with the asset then everything is fine. Nothing more to verify.
You can check chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered for your username or NXT-address.
thank you.
can you please confirm that i can transfer (redeem) NEMstakes more than once from the same NXT account (referencing the same "real" NEM account). and also that i can transfer (redeem) NEMstakes from multiple NXT accounts (again, referencing the same "real" NEM account).
hopefully my question is clear, let me know if not.
thank you.

As long as you always supply a valid real NEM-address (NOT ENCRYPTED) you can send it however you want.
You can supply the same address for multiple tx as well.
Just because it's possible doesn't mean it's not an invonvenience for us though so if it's not necessary please refrain from doing so.

thank you. yes i will of course send in as few steps as possible for you.
currently, i have sent 1 NEMstake, and my holdings show that i have "2-1" NEMstakes (i have 2, but now only 1 available for transfer).
i fear that i am having an issue with my NXT wallet, even though i am on the right block.
shouldnt the transfer be instant? or is it pending on your end and you have to accept it before my balance will change from 2 to 1?
sorry for all the questions. i look elsewhere for answers before posting here.

After the first confirmation it should not take longer than 15 minutes for your to show up on chain.nem.ninja/stakes/registered.

ok i'm having a problem then. my asset transfer never confirms. have tried multiple times. i'll keep investigating. i've spent more time than i can afford on this, so i'll probably sell my NEMstake for NXT even though i'd prefer not to.

If it never confirms the problem is somewhere on your end. Are you absolutely sure you're in sync with the network ?

if i get more time i will look into it again. i'm on the right block, but perhaps there is something more complicated happening on my end.
