Restore of NanoWallet backup showing no data!

Hi.

I’m experimenting with my wallet before moving over my coins, and I have some huge problems. I have my backup file with a small transaction, private key, wallet name, DER64 (?) data and of course my passphrase.

When I add the backed up wlt file, or adding a new wallet with my private key and passphrase, I end up with a blank account! No transactions, no coins, Node showing a red circle, no account button. I tried it on the same browser where it worked previously, and on other computers and browsers. Same problem.

A person in another thread mentioned that the private key could change after you actually add the funds. So, this might be my case. Anyone have other ideas as to what I do wrong?

Are there a non-Beta NanoWallet?

Hi,

Default node can be down. If circle is red it means the app is not connected. Just select another node by clicking"Node" in the navbar

I had problems yesterday where it does not showing any balances at all. I redownloaded the newer version of the wallet. Then I backed up the wallet files (moved them into a backup folder) then copied them back where they wer . I ran the new wallet and either step seems to have fixed it.

This has nothing to do with the nodes selected I think. I’ve tried most of them. Still no transactions shown and no account link.

I’ll check for a newer wallet later and test it out. I tried on more browsers and machines now, and I tried to accept the location settings on all of them. But there was still no transactions shown. When I do the same process on my machine where I originally installed the wallet and tranfered funds to, the backup process works just fine.

Are there alternative wallets that I can use? Starting to freak out when I have too much on the online exchanges :frowning:

Red circle means it is not connected to any node.
If your network is not blocking, try updating your browser to latest version.

You can use the NCC and import your private key. If you click on settings you can set a remote node ip from https://supernodes.nem.io, so you don’t have to download the blockchain.
