I think I lost all my XEM, just want to double-check here to make sure.
I bought a few XEM in 2015, and then put them in a wallet (NCC). I have the passphrase, but I can’t for the life of me find my wallet file. At the time, I thought I was creating a brain wallet, but I’ve read around here that NCC couldn’t create brain wallets. I figure I’m screwed if I can’t find a wlt file, is this correct? Thanks!
Well I’m also pretty sure NCC doesn’t support brainwallets but you can try on nanowallet 1.4.10:

Are you sure you don’t have adb and wlt files?

Thanks for your help. I am trying to see if I can recover wlt and adb files (with a low probability of success). I find that photorec can’t recognize wlt files, so I will probably try testdisk next (unless anyone knows of a signature for wlt files, as requested in this forum post: Hex identifier for wlt file).
