Sent XEM to wrong address

Hi,
In a race to get some more XEM last night I accidentally entered the wallet address (displayed on dashboard) and not the receive address. Seems like Im not the only one as I see a few people have done the same, but I have not found a solution.
It is possible to retrieve these missing XEM?

It is my wallet on my phone.
I used the wrong address, that appears on the accounts dashboard, believing it was the receive address.

Could you give your public address (this one from where you sent tokens). I search in blockexplorer for this transaction.

Ok. You have or not access to wallet ndzvzl-bxgl73-6h4boi-j2vjem-jtwkzn-wdpu4n-tli4?
If yes you can sens tokens back. If not and you know owner you can ask to him to return. Transaction could not be canceled (this is how blockchain works)

Im not sure how Nem works as Im new to it, but it seems ndzvzl-bxgl73-6h4boi-j2vjem-jtwkzn-wdpu4n-tli4 is the wallet number(?). This is code I see in my Dashboard in my wallet, I have not received the XEM using this code.
Previously I had used the correct NDYRRJ-F56DEN-PZZZAS-K2D6XV-DCXX7H-V6GSYE-RHGF

Ok. You send this tokens from exchange or nano wallet?
If this is transaction you talking about it goes to recipient ndzvzl-bxgl73-6h4boi-j2vjem-jtwkzn-wdpu4n-tli4 and only this wallet owner can send it back.

It’s the nem mobile wallet.
It’s my wallet but I don’t believe this is the correct receive address.
I think the funds are lost if they haven’t/don’t arrive.
I very much appreciate the help. Thanks for looking into it.

It looks like exchange (a lot of transactions) not individual client. But you talk it was done from mobile wallet.

yes, it was an exchange via changelly, I assume thats their send address.

Ok. Well now only owner of ndzvzl-bxgl73-6h4boi-j2vjem-jtwkzn-wdpu4n-tli4 can return this money.
NEM can’t reverse this transaction (this is how blockchain works).

If it’s not your wallet (ndzvzl-bxgl73-6h4boi-j2vjem-jtwkzn-wdpu4n-tli4) and you don’t know who is owner it complicates returning tokens. Of course you can send transaction with message to this address but now warranty it returns your tokens.
