I know this probably has been discussed before but I couldn't find any details…
Is anyone willing to help me in setting up my IDE to build NCC locally? I'm interested in playing around with it and maybe (although highly unlikely given how complex it is) make some of my own usability improvements. At the very least, it would be interesting to be able to get it to build locally, but I don't even know where to start.
I got IntelliJ and cloned the NCC repo, but literally can't get any further than that. I have JDK 8 but I'm not sure what other dependencies I'm missing or how to configure the IDE to properly import the project. Is Eclipse easier? What are the devs using?

Is the Community Edition of IntelliJ enough or do I need the Ultimate Edition?
