SocketTimeoutException Error?

Getting error I’ve never had before when trying to login to my wallet NCC.

Error 500
NIS: java.net.SocketTimeoutException

Only been a few days since I last logged in, not sure what the issue is?

I also got the full green logo?
(but say NIS not available)

Are you using a local NIS or a remote NIS? If the latter which node are you using?

OK, cheers

I check and realized my supernode has been failing for some reason, need to go and diagnose it

Any thoughts for LandofNode?

i have seen that node fail for a while. Was wondering why the owner doesn’t restart nis ^^
Is it a 2GB node or a 1GB node? For how long has it been running without nis restart?

it’s a 2GB node. I just setup it up and have left it alone. Been away from the comp. the past several days.

To restart do I just need to login to the VPS and reboot?

I’m not very technical, I just followed the Debian guide to get up and running.
What command do I use for restart?

i am not sure if NIS is still running and has problems or if it is not running at all.
Is there an autostart for NIS and the servant after a vps reboot? then this would be the easiest way to get it up again.

Yeah I just rebooted.

These 2 seem OK now, so I’m assuming its back up and running.
