Sometimes the firewall block some NIS API requests

Now I watch [url=https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fpp.vk.me%2Fc621631%2Fv621631118%2Ffe98%2F8exoisez600.jpg&amp;t=549&amp;c=eWOR0EmwzIq5jw]blocked by the firewallhttp://108.61.203.140:7890/node/info<br />http://108.61.203.140:7890/chain/height

Earlier was blockedhttp://107.191.50.89:7890/chain/height
etc

Why they are blocked? I think these addresses are in the firewall base.
I think not necessarily resolve their. Is that so?

This shouldn't be a problem with the software but with configuration of your security software. I'm using avast on a machine and never had any problems using NCC, NIS or remote NIS in any way. I always turn such software into super paranoid mode and still had no problems so something must be really off with yours

Have you tried shutting avast off and see if it works then ?
Any other software installed that might block access ?

[li]The blockings does not create problems for the NEM node because only a single address 108.61.203.140 is blocked. I just ignore them. But I am interested in.[/li]
[li]The blockings occur sporadically and not always. Before this they were not possible month. The day before yesterday they started again. They were in version 0.4.x too.[/li]
[li]The blockings was observed not only me and not only in Avast:

[li]The consistent pattern: the blockings have started at the same time for all nemsters.[/li]

Oh now I get it so your NIS is trying to connect to that host and is being blocked.
Maybe that node is on someĀ  watch list or whatever.

That IP (108.61.203.140) is a NEM node running on a vultr VPS from kodtycoon (node name: kodtycoonNode2ss).

i dont know why the hell this is happening but either way i dropped that node and making a new one now. :/

if any of those firewalls have any sort of sensible settings, it should be possible to add exclusion for that particular IP for port 7890.

but if kodty said he's dropping it anyway, I guess there's no point in it.
