Hi I’m new. Very happy to be involved with NEM and just downloaded the desktop wallet. Was going to buy some NEM on exchange then send to wallet (maybe open a mobile wallet… really excited to get involved)

So when I got stopped was where it says I “need to make a transaction to get a public key” So came here to read threads like this and look for advice. It seems like I just need to use my Address. That I don’t need an actual public key.

Is this correct?

And do you know if I can use this address with Binance?

Yes. You can use address only :slight_smile:
For Binance please use address without dashes.
