Spam the Beta Network

Hi All,

I heard something interesting about how emunie was able to spam their network very effectively for stress testing. It would be cool if someone could write a script that does something similar for NEM :D.


[Emunie] has a built in spam button, you enter the wallet name you want to send it to, how much you want to send, how many times you want to send them and the time between sending them (it can be set as low as 1 sec). Would be nice if NEM has something like this to really stress test the network. Are there any API commands to use for sending out multiple txs?

I did some manual spamming on the alpha and it seemed a transaction or two might have just disappeared from my client into the ether.

I've been manually spamming. That would be a lot easier.

Yes we definitely need this before launch.

So then why don't the NEM developers write one? If the emunie developer wrote one for emunie then can't NEM developers do the same? Please don't say "no time", surly they  can make time to do something as important as this.
