Hi, I want to know how to stop the NEM node, i don’t want to kill the node using ctr+c, i want to use an instruction, for example, when i use MONERO node, you stop (do not kill it) the node clicking the button ‘q’, so the node get stopped, the blocks downloaded get stocked in the disk, so the integrity of the block chain don’t get corrupted, and this is verified using the hash.
The problem using ctr+c it’s that the node it’s killed and when you want to start it again you must have to start downloading the node from the bottom, also, when you change the file config.properties, you have to kill the node, and restart it.
So if there is any command to stop the node less “abrupt” , or change the file config.properties without killing the NEM node you wuld help me a lot.
If you want pause the node, then you can use ctrl+z
If you want continue it, then use the command fg
