Symbol vs. NEM - will there be a community fork?

I was wondering.
The existing community mostly identifies with NEM and there are several NEM community aggregator platforms (most relevant probably: Telegram Groups, NEM Forum, Twitter).
Would the same virtual mingling places be used for the “SYMBOL FROM NEM” chatter, news and discussions?
Or does NEM Group and their Marketing&Communications department plan to start all from scratch and invite existing members to join the new channels?

Current position is that the channels will remain as they are.
