Introducing myself:
I’m your average Doe, getting into crypto for real since June now… My first contact with crypto was with ethereum, I invested and mined a little two years ago. And then deleted my wallet straight without a backup. -.- ^^ That would be worth 15k now… Well, thanks for the lesson! 
I’m just getting started with NEM. I got in contact with it as a tool to to invest in DIMCOIN. I installed the Nanowallet and bought some XEM, which I investet into DIMCOIN.
Then I started reading more about NEM, checking out the faucet and the Forum. I really like the Ideas of this project! POI is new to me, I think rationally the best solution I’ve seen so far. Like this the network really gets used for more than speculation. This might be the first altcoin network with actual usefulness (to me at least). I hope so!
I have a very good first impression of the community here. Thank you guys for the good work! And for markdown, it rocks! 
I look forward to discussions, and hope I can do my share to support the network.
