Since new users can’t upload images, you’ll just have to take my word for it.
This wallet appears to be functioning properly, updating ‘Market Information’ appropriately.
I have an incoming NEM transaction that is stalled for several hours, possibly due to
a wallet that, although producing a ‘receive’ address, might not be setup properly to receive
funds. I have no way of knowing whether the wallet is or is not in proper form or function, since
the installation instructions ended at step 2; I cannot execute step 3 and beyond.
Running the MacOS version
…iMac-2:~ $ cd mywalletname/nanowallet
…iMac-2:nanowallet $ package
-bash: package: command not found
…iMac-2:nanowallet $ sh nix.runNcc.sh
sh: nix.runNcc.sh: No such file or directory
Then, I locate a completely different set of installation instructions located at
https://blog.nem.io/mac-installation-guide-standalone/.
What was step 3 in the original instructions is now step 4!!
Step 4: Open up a terminal window and type:cd Desktop/package
After that in terminal type sh nix.runNis.sh
If things go correctly, you will see terminal start to get really active.
(Click on the magnifying glass on the top right of your desktop and type in “terminal”.)
Step 5: Open up a different new terminal window and type:cd Desktop/package
After that in terminal type sh nix.runNcc.sh
(To open up a new terminal window two finger click on terminal and choose “new window”. Do not close the old terminal window.)
If it works, terminal will become very active.
This step 4 does not work. There is no ‘package’ and the command sh nix.runNis.sh (not listed in the original steps in another location) does not work.
Given the duplication in installation instructions, in multiple locations, I cannot be certain whether they are out of date, or, which is correct.
