I have installed the nano wallet for android and have been using it a while. I have a good amount of fund but want to move to the desktop wallet to use mosaics for DIMCOIN. However when i try to create a private key wallet on the desktop version i enter my nano wallet private key from my phone and it says invalid. Is there another way i can import my wallet from android to the desktop

The private key method you mentioned should work fine. It sounds like you are not copying the key exactly.
You can always just send the XEM to a new wallet on desktop, but your vested balance will be reset.
would you know how i would send dimcoins also ?
Bump…any suggestions i want to send my dimcoin to the desktop client. Also the Private key is 100% correct but the desktop client wont accept it
That is not possible. The private key is universal, you will be able to import it into any NEM wallet.
It is very hard to transcribe the private key by hand. If you do not copy/paste, you will probably get a letter or number wrong.
I do not believe you can send mosaics from the android client. You will need to figure out your correct private key to import your DIMCOIN into nanowallet.

All i can do is transfer Android contacts to computer ,as for the Android wallet , this is the first time i have heard of it
You can import private key on other device or scan qr code from view more - > export account if you are exporting to other phone.
