So I’ve read on other posts I need to be sent some coins to unlock my wallet before I can withdraw from exchange. Anyone able to help me out?
Can anyone confirm for me if this is the case or not? I remember it was the same situation when I setup my NXT wallet someone had to send me a message to announce my public key or whatever. Don’t particularly want to attempt a transaction from Bittrex for a fee of 15 XEM for it to just fail

You can send funds from another person’s NanoWallet or many exchanges to the newly created NanoWallet for receipt.
Is not it possible with BITTREX?

The fact that Bittrex does not send money to a wallet without a public key is not included in the NEM’s specifications. Bittrex adds such restrictions.

From what other people have said, that appears to be the case. This is a restriction that Bittrex enables.
