Voting

I was on holiday!

Ok, could a dev react to this please. What am I supposed to do now? Do I, or do I not send money to an account from my Exchange account. If that's not the solution, which is? I'm not the only one who thinks it's fair that I should get my invested stake.

The solution would be for you to stop annoying people with this. You won't get your stake, as has been stated many times.

Annoying? You really are getting me wound up about this. A few days ago I had more votes for then against, so I'm not the only one who thinks it's fair that I should get my stake.

I found it, still, absolutely ridiculous that you are talking to me in this manner. I made a little mistake, but am still one of the first investors here, even before you started working on this project.
I am willing to prove in any way, that I'm a true investor, but even when I have more votes for then against, you are trying to put me down as somebody who is 'annoying'…

It's not more then fair that I've started this topic so that there is a fair voting on this matter. I feel embarresed about the way you talk to an early investor.

I've been cooperative in many ways to show everybody that I'm the one who invested in this, I only misread something that is not even that big of a deal because you created this coin using my invested money.

Yes, your a true investor. So true and invested that you didn't bother to check the stakeholderlist for half a year.
And stop saying we created NEM with your money. That's just absurd. We offered you a refund - You declined.

A few days ago I had more votes for then against, so I'm not the only one who thinks it's fair that I should get my stake.

All the people, who voted for you to get your stake, probably made the same or a similar mistake or didn't think about the case. So the voting doesn't change anything. This is not a community decision but a common sense decision.

I made a little mistake,

No, you made a pretty big mistake. It is so big that you can't even prove your transaction.

but am still one of the first investors here, even before you started working on this project.

This is completely irrelevant.

I am willing to prove in any way, that I'm a true investor, [...]

Yes, but unfortunately you can't.

I've been cooperative in many ways to show everybody that I'm the one who invested in this, I only misread something that is not even that big of a deal because you created this coin using my invested money.

But you still couldn't prove your transaction, because it is not possible. Because what you "misread" is a big deal.

I really feel sorry for you. But you can't expect to get a stake without proof. You know what the consequences would be!

I think the only way to try to prove your relation to that account would be to contact the exchange to which it belongs to, but even that can be a very difficult and slow path. It's not that I wouldn't believe you, but if the rules aren't the same for everyone then we will get in trouble. Anyone could come here and claim that they own this or that account.

You did use my money, witouth sending me a pm that my investment was declined.

You did offer me a refund and I did accept that. I had to send you a message on bitcointalk with my NEXT adress, but you never send me my money.. Untill today, you still didn't do that.

I can make a printscreen of my investment. That was the first thing I had to do on the other thread on bitcointalk to prove that I was the one who send the money. That's a legit way of proving I made that transaction, because there is only one trxID and that's the one from my account.

Not everyone can just claim something they don't own. I told you which comment was removed. I told you what my trxID was, told everything that you need to verify I did was the one who'se comment was removed and who'se money had been send.

A printscreen in high quality is a way to prove it. Even NASA pictures can be debunked by idiots online, my intentions are always positive and the way that patmast3r is talking to me is really not the way you should talk to somebody. But he doesn't care about me, he made that pretty obvious. I should've never invested, utopianfuture was totally different in the way he communicated. This really bothers me very very much.. I'm going to send a message to the forum to ask if there is a way to verify my account. But I already sense that even then, patmast3r doens't give anything about that, even if I had enough votes.

This is wrong.

Screenshots are in no way proof. They are easily tampered with and I've been scammed that way before which is why we don't accept them anymore.
If utopianfuture was such a great communicator then why didn't you spot his post saying that your registration wasn't valid ? IIRC it was on the same page as your registration post (a few posts down I think).

Explain to me why you didn't bother to check in ever until it was too late ? Give me at least a half decent explanation on why a truely interested investor never checked back for half a year.

I already explained that, but offcourse no problem to tell you that again.

I was on a business trip. The one who told me about NEM, kept updating me on the status of NEM,
so there was no reason for me to check, until that person told me when te next step was.
So no reason for me to check, I wasn't the only one who misread and transferred money from an exchange,
allthough the only one who's comment was removed. I only noticed that when I logged in after my friend
told me there was a update about NEM.

So you registered for your stake from the airport ? IIRC UP posted that your registration isn't valid a few minutes after your post so I assume your business trip started immediately after you posted your registration ?

That was your decision and is of no relevance for us to read this.

I wasn't the only one who misread and transferred money from an exchange,

Tell us who got a stake with a transaction from an exchange. I don't believe it.

Plenty of people. It doesn't matter as long as you don't run into any trouble.

Ok, then everything I wrote based on wrong assumptions.

Question stays: How could you prove that you made that transaction? And please never again talk about screenshots anymore.^^

I'm going to make a proposal.
I'm only making this because others have done it this way. I myself would never thought that anyone would trust me that much but people did and they proved their identify this way.

The only way to convice me that the tx is from you, is if you let me log into your exchange account and I can take a look at the outgoing transactions. If I find the tx-id that was posted, by you there I'll give you your stake.

I usually don't bring this option up and wait if the other person comes up with it but I really want this matter ended in a decent way so…

If Latifa78 PMs me after launch, I'll send some portion of my NEM stake, if their claimed stake isn't honoured.

I'm setting aside at least 1% of my NEM to share with people who want to have NEM, but felt some technicality left them out of being an original stakeholder.

My reasoning is that something is better than nothing, and 1% of my stake won't harm me in any way. I hope other NEMsters join in this sort of altruism. NEM will also get further if we're kind to each other, and we have more people using NEM instead of competing currencies. Making someone bitter by even non-maliciously stiffing them, isn't going to make enough fans of NEM.

If I was in latifas position I would dive on this opportunity. Especially if the stake in question was my only stake. There is only so much info that can be gotten from an exchange and password can be changed. Risk would be minimal imo.

Mixmaster: I know, but patmaster asked me, so that's why I explained.

Patmaster, let me first react to your first reaction:

I didn't go on my trip straight after I posted, my friend told me that it was the only thing I needed to do to invest. So that's what I did, I didn't feel the need to check because there was no need to check. In the beginning it was just signing in and that was it.

I thank you gratefully for this opportunity. The whole converstation felt so hostile and couldn't imagine that we  couldn't come up with a solution for this.

I will send you the details from my exchange account in a private message. Can't explain how happy I am to hear that you are willing to find a solution. You changed the whole vibe around!
It does feel weird to give you my account details, but as everybody can see our conversation here and I want to make a statement that I'm about trust and that I can be trusted on my word, I will send you the details of my account. Clearing it out first offcourse

And as for Ltcmining, there should be more people like you out there. Thank you so much for this kind gesture!

I've just send you a message with the following information but I want to keep things as transparent as we did the whole time.

I talked to Cryptsy (the exchange I sent the BTC from). Head of security told me that my account would get locked if somebody else would get in my account. I'm very carefull offcourse, as you guys would aswell.

Now he gave me his email, so that he can verify my transaction. It's more legit for all party's to act in this manner.  This is his mail adres: Horus@cryptsy.com

Thanks again for this opportunity, I thank you again.

I've responded in a pm.

I think the person from cryptsy is just taking things very strict. I've been given cryptsy credentials as well and no account was locked. Anyway...
